Dr. Gupta gives CME presentation on current treatment for pediatric scoliosis

Dr. Munish Gupta, director of the Pediatric Spine Program at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California, will lead Alameda County physicians in a discussion of Current Treatment for Pediatric Scoliosis on Thursday, June 19. The presentation is approved for one-hour of continuing medical education (CME) credit.

A statewide leader in pediatric spine care, the Northern California Shriners Hospital treats spine conditions of all degrees – from a fatigue fracture in the lower spine that requires careful monitoring to a congenital kyphosis that can lead to paralysis. As director of the program, Dr. Gupta works with a team of specialists in orthopaedics, pediatrics, anesthesia, genetics, neurology and neurosurgery to provide comprehensive care for children challenged with spinal imperfections. Children from throughout Northern California, Southern Oregon and Western Nevada, seek the care provided by the Shriners Hospital in Sacramento. All patients are treated regardless of the ability of the patient or family to pay.

Space is limited and reservations are required. Please respond by June 9th by calling 916-453-2041 or send an email to ncal.education@shrinenet.org
